I spent the last months of the 20th Century trying to convince fellow first-graders that I was an alien.

But, the new millennium came and everyone still believed I was a human. While my con wasn’t successful, I did solidify my love for storytelling. 

This followed me into my adult years as I became a high school English teacher, and also prompted me to leave my career to pursue an MFA in creative writing. 

I wrote horror stories and disco novels by night, and began a copywriting career by day. (I had earthlings to feed!) 

I got my start in the DTC world and threw myself into the vortex. Given the wildly complex nature of that digital space, it’s particularly fist-pumpingly exciting when a headline or CTA cuts through the chaos and achieves a measurable result. 

I’ve helped build agencies. I’ve come in on multi-million dollar accounts. I’ve laid the creative foundation for start-up brands. I’ve refined the voices of industry leaders. 

This is what’s led to Branded Alien.
